Urban Industrial Designer for the Jerusalem Light Rail | PABLIC-ZONE
As an industrial designer at Pablic-Zone Studio, I was responsible for the design and development of urban infrastructure elements for the Jerusalem Light Rail.
One of the major projects I led involved designing validator poles for the Red Line – used daily by thousands of passengers. These public products required a delicate balance between durability, functionality, and clean visual presence in a dynamic urban space.
I also took part in designing the Ein Kerem station from scratch, focusing on user flow, accessibility, intuitive use, and a welcoming public experience. The project demanded coordination with strict transportation standards and attention to public needs.
My responsibilities included:
-
Creating detailed 3D visualizations and renders.
-
Producing technical drawings and design files for production.
-
Building full product documentation for manufacturing.
This experience taught me how industrial design can enhance public services, simplify daily interactions, and shape how people feel in shared spaces.
Seeing my designs installed and in use by real people was one of the most fulfilling moments in my journey as a designer.
